Louis Botha's photography course

Louis is a professional photographer who runs
photography courses here in the clear, sparkling air of the great Karoo
amid the spectacular surroundings of Prince Albert. His next course
takes place in May 2010.
"INTRODUCTION TO ADVANCED PHOTOGRAPHY"
For newcomers as well as experienced photographers wishing to
increase the impact of their work. Small groups of 10 and less assure

St John's Flower Festival
October 2010
The theme changes each year but the lovely little Victorian
church revels in its beautiful Spring decoration. The church
is open all day Saturday for visitors to view the flowers and spend some time
listening to gentle music. At 10.00am on Sunday a Morning Prayer service is held. See the harmonium installed to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond
Jubilee! You can also take a walk in their labyrinth.
Remember to pop into
the Museum to see the copy of His Royal Highness' collected speeches, sent to
the village by Queen Victoria and inscribed by Her Majesty.

Prince Albert Harvest Festival
20 November 2010
Join the people of Prince Albert as they celebrate
their bountiful harvest. The Harvest Festival will be a larger
version of the weekly Saturday Morning Market with lots of fresh fruit
(apricots, plums, nectarines, cherries, strawberries) in season and other local produce
including jams, preserves, olives, olive oil, freshly baked bread and
organically grown vegetables.
